Crikey, i must be on a roll, with my 2nd productive day on the trot. Here`s the best bits ;

Elsecar Road : Red-legged Partridge 2 (in one of the horse paddocks).
Lake : Grey Heron 1, Shoveler 4, Pochard 2, Tufted Duck 24, Goosander 1, Coot (colour-ringed bird).
Spoil Heap : Grey Partridge (several, calling).
TPT : Water Rail 1 (calling from adjacent stream).
Pit Lane : Jay 2.
Matalan (lights) : Early Moth 1 &

With the weather turning cold again for the foreseeable, i can`t see there being much variety to report for a while.

  7. Warren : Had one early in the month. Wigeon, Teal, Great Crested Grebe, Snipe or Peregrine are the most likely additions.
